How long have you been playing WoW?
July 2010, tail end of wrath, back in the days of the elf death run
How did you start playing WoW?
I’ve never had the time or inclination for video games but I kept hearing about WoW and the lore and story hooked me. Also I liked the idea of herbalism without insect bites and contact dermatitis.
Favorite race/class/spec?
My main is still my original night elf priest. I started holy but switched to discipline. I guess my favorite race is still night elf with gnome and draenei alts.
Favorite class:
priest, followed by druid and shaman. Not enough practice with dps to be any use and I’ve never tried tanking. (I’m one of the people who fell off the side of Darnassus during the last hide-and-seek – and that’s my capital city. I do better at the back of the group.)
Why Darkwind?
Nice community, nice people.
If Blizzard were to shut down all the servers tomorrow, what game are you playing?
Probably be out weeding the garden or stirring a dye vat.
One awesome memory you have from WoW?
First time I saw Darnassus. I never get tired of night elf territory.
What’s your favorite thing to do in game?
When playing solo: herb gathering as an excuse for exploration, crafting, and lately collecting odd pets. I enjoy healing despite the occasional unpleasantness of dungeon finder.
What random event would you like to see Darkwind do?
During the wow xmas holiday the caroling quest might be fun in a group. Also the quest where you fish in the opposing factions capital. Lawn darts.
If you were a breakfast cereal, which one would you be and why?
If coffee doesn’t count then blueberry shredded wheat. I like the color.
