WoW Stuff
How long have you played wow?
I messed around here and there since vanilla but only really started playing endgame content in BfA.
How did you come to start playing?
I played most of the ye olde grandpa mmos prior to WoW and gave it a shot since I enjoyed the genre and the Warcraft rts games.
What’s your favorite race/spec?
Gnomes for life. I mainly play death knight and monk but also badly play shaman and warrior.
What brought you to Darkwind?
I was looking for a guild to call home in 8.2 and connected with Darkwind’s recruiting page on Wowprogress—so wholesome.
What is your favorite thing to do in game?
Trade chat civil discourse
If wow were to suddenly disappear, what game would you be playing?
One of the other mmos I play during WoW content droughts
If you could vacation anywhere in game…
I’d just vibe out in Zangarmarsh.

What is your favorite dungeon or raid in WoW? Least favorite?
Thematically, Karazhan is my favorite instance. As far as stuff I played as current content, I had a blast with Operation: Mechagon when it first launched. Least? I don’t miss Tol Dagor, and Sanguine Depths can die in a ditch.
Who is your favorite character from the World of Warcraft and why?
Gotta go with Chromie because wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.
What is one of your favorite wow memories?
The first time I raided with Darkwind, I dropped an f bomb (before 8 PM) upon failing a mechanic and followed with, “S*** sorry.” Good first impression.
What random event would you like Darkwind to do?
Book club? Bad movie night?
When Not Playing WoW
What are some of your hobbies?
Making music, stepping up my cooking game, obsessively watching films, co-op game nights, and reading both treasures and trash
What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
I’d throw pottery more often if I had an electric kiln at home.
Do you collect anything?
Effects pedals are my favorite money sink. I also own an embarrassing number of games on Steam.
Favorite book?
Hard to narrow to one, but Les Misérables is timeless and always stirs my revolutionary fervor. Some authors whose work I enjoy: Haruki Murakami, Philip K. Dick, Terry Pratchett, Robert A. Heinlein, James S.A. Corey, Ursula Le Guin, Mikhail Bulgakov, Kurt Vonnegut, Brandon Sanderson

Favorite movie?
One film per director: Ikiru is the film that’s stuck with me the most throughout my life. A few honorable mentions are The Seventh Seal, Wings of Desire, Porco Rosso, Lawrence of Arabia, The Darjeeling Limited, Limelight, Au Hasard Balthazar, This is Spinal Tap, Pierrot le Fou, Solaris, Life of Brian, and of course The Room.

Coolest place you ever visited irl?
As a history nerd Saint Petersburg, Istanbul, Paris, and Kyoto stick out the most to me. And although I’m from Louisiana, New Orleans is still one of the coolest places on the planet.
